SoftRithm University ERP (SUERP), an education ERP software for managing all academic and non-academic operations of higher educational institutes has been launched at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB).
Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) is the second university who started to implement this robust Education ERP system developed by SoftRithm IT Limited.
The implementation process started following the consent of Dr. Abu Yusuf, Md. Abdullah, Chairman, Northern University Trust and the official instruction of Commodore M. Munirul Islam (Retd) , Registrar, NUB and Mr. Saad-Al-Zabir Abdullah, Director IT, NUB.
Earlier on 11, February 2021, after receiving the relevant work order from NUB, SoftRithm Development Team started to get engaged with NUBs old Software’s end users, gather their requirements, problems facing with the old software and then commence the necessary customization of its distinguished product SoftRithm University ERP (SUER).
Following an agile methodology the company used to arrange weekly meeting with the end users and continued gathering users feedback, performing modifications and user’s training.
On 15 September 2021, SoftRithm team run the final data migration script to migrate all the data from NUB’s previous software to SUERP’s database and nub users started the cross checking of data in old and new system. As project manager for NUB's side Md. Anisuzzaman, Assistant Director, IT, NUB conveyed his best effort to make this project successful.
Finally, on 18 September the new software started to be used in production mode officially.
